The Light Parade is Lightwave Festival’s major community participatory event. This year’s theme Out of this World is an opportunity to dress outrageously, let your inner alien shine and surprise us all.

The Light Parade will be led by XIXA, in a serpentine dance from the CWA Rooms to Tasman District School grounds.

Each year the Light Parade grows with colour, light and joy. This year promises to be a spectacular event. Don’t be shy, join in!

Meet outside the CWA Rooms in Nubeena at 5:45 pm for a 6:00 pm start.

If you arrive at the festival with nothing to wear in the parade you can purchase a stunning floral headdress from the Turrakana Tasman Arts Bar located in the main food court.
