Decorate your house, shack, block or business with light in the weeks prior to Lightwave. This project is open to all Forestier and Tasman Peninsula residents including Sommers Bay, Murdunna, Eaglehawk Neck, Taranna, Port Arthur, White Beach, Koonya, Premaydena, Saltwater River, Nubeena, and everywhere in between.

Dust off your Christmas fairy lights, charge them up and start adorning your windows, house or front yard .



Original artwork by Tasman District School primary and secondary students, the Tasman Homeschool Network plus local adult artists are projected at scale onto the facade of Tasman District School Hall.

This project is facilitated by Castlemaine artist Jim Coad and is supported by The Foundation for Rural and Regional Renewal.

These projections are large and can be seen from the whole Lightwave Festival site.

Nubeena CWA Hall is transformed into a woodland forest by the Tasman Homeschool Network.

Child friendly light dinner options from 5:00 pm. We will close for The Light Parade from 6:00 to 6:30 pm, then re-open until 9:00 pm with hot chocolate and yummy treats.

This family friendly venue is hosted by the Tasman Homeschool Network.

The Tasman Neighbourhood House is Lightwave Festival’s Volunteer HQ. The house is also home to our fluro face painting crew, come along and be transformed.
